This is a scrapbook page that I did for second Saturday. It was fun to dig through the old photos and find the baby pictures. I didn't get it quite finished-journaling, but they wanted to put it on the Porter's blog so that's why I have such a nice scanned photo. First photo is Holly. My roommate at the hospital had a Polaroid camera (that dates me) and took this photo. Second is Matt with the Clement cousins. Third is Megan with Carol Anne, Mary Ann's daughter. Megan had all of the hair and Carol Anne didn't get any until about 3 years old. The next one is Tim and the last one is Keith. I realized that I didn't have many photos of myself with my kids. I guess that I was always taking the pictures. Anyway it was a fun scrapbook page to do.

The Three Unpolished Stones

Teri's camera

My camera- I guess there is a difference!
Dennis referred to them as 3 unpolished stones....I referred to them as 3 hicks from the sticks. Dennis is the new bishop a a BYU-I ward with Sid and Brant Kerbs as counselors. Holly said that Dennis is going to drag Sid to heaven whether he wants to go or not. I went over to their church yesterday and they will do fine. The kids need a break and a change from the college professors.

It's a Girl

I am so excited. We are finally having another granddaughter. Lily won't be alone. Matt and Jess are excited also. This was taken in Fiji. Baby girl is due the first part of August

Keith is getting settled in Dallas and got an apartment. He is planning to come back for a visit over the week of Memorial Day. I feel lonely for him even though we didn't see him that much before, he is farther away.

Bathroom-finished finally!

Yes, it was worth and wait. Sid will never quite get over how much is was or how long it took.
I love the granite and the undermount sink. Actually it's all great to me and I'm glad that it is done. Sid thought that the girls had too much input into it, but ultimately I made the decisions. We learned a lot from the experience and would probably do a few things differently.

Is it really spring?

This was taken a few weeks ago. I wanted everyone to see that Dusty's hill was nearly gone and we actually had a nice warm day. It was around 60 degrees. We melted a lot of snow.

These two photos were taken this morning. We had a blizzard of horizontal snow. We were in Rexburg by the temple and it was very windy up there. It is currently 37 degrees so most of the snow is melted. Clark county didn't have school today. We were jealous. It is currently at the end of the third quarter with only 9 more weeks of school!

Here are the twins!

Here is Braxton's better half known as his twin by his mother. (He loves to do whatever Braxton does and idolizes him.) They get into a lot of mischief together. Here is Adam eating Braxton's favorite meal-sausage. Brax and Grandpa went to the grocery store to buy all of Braxon't favorites. Including were his apple juice, chips and crackers.

We always thought that Matt and Cole looked alike...well they do. They also have the same hair that sticks up without a great deal of hair gel. The guys went to play basketball at Dusty's Dad's house. Sid and Matt were especially sore today. Holly, Jess and I went shopping. I had to return my light fixture in the bathroom. It was so perfect except that I couldn't open the doors to the medicine cabinet. I had to buy a very plain one since I didn't have a lot of options. No, it still isn't finished yet. The countertop is finally on, but the tile work isn't finished yet or the plumbing. I guess that we didn't make the March 1st deadline. We took the boys to Mall Cop. It was a perfect movie for them and they loved it.

Trip to Utah

Braxton woke up bright and early Saturday morning as I was going outside to jog. He was looking for his Grandpa. He ran downstairs and discovered that Sid was in the shower. He couldn't believe it and waitied patiently in front of the bathroom door. Perhaps, not patiently as he pounded on the door. As you can see, he was glad to finally see him.

We took a trip to the DeMille's home to visit with the family. Matt and Jess and Keith met us also. Keith is moving to Dallas, Texas next weekend. His office in Salt Lake is closing so he and 10 other coworkers are transfering to the Dallas office. He is apprehensive about the move and will try to find a place to rent. Since it isn't the most ideal time to try to sell his house, Mata and her twin sister and brother-in-law will stay in Orem until he feels like his job is secure. We will miss having him in Utah and hope that it all works out for the best. He does feel grateful that he has a job.
