A Spring Day

Cole is a great driver and was riding all over using the big snowmachine.
Sid's boys from BYU-I came out to shoot their guns and Dusty was helping Cole shoot cans with a 22. It sounded like a shooting range.

A Visit from the DeMilles

Big Brother Braxton was driving Adam all by himself with the snowmachine. Adam was loving it. It was quite an accomplishment for Braxton to drive by himself. He tried once several years ago and got scared. Today he not only drove around by himself, but took Adam for a ride. Dusty kept trying to throw snowballs and hit them. They loved it.

Today was a beautiful spring day in Idaho. It was about 50 degrees and the snow is melting. If this keeps up, the snow will be gone.

David Archuleta

Taylor Crapo and Morgan Roderick loved every moment of the concert.

Lindsey had some extra tickets to the concert so Patsy asked Teri and I to go to it. We were somewhat leery about being too old. However there were all age groups in attendance including Sylvia Miller and Alda Remington. As you can see, we did get there a little early, but we got a great parking spot. Patsy thought that it started at 7 instead of 7:30. He is a great singer and we enjoyed his Christmas songs. He had a sold out crowd.

California

Francie Mackert's husband is on the right. His name is Rob and he plays the sax in Disneyland. They were performing in New Orleans.
Patsy and I met Francie at Disneyland. Thanks to her, we got into the park for free and also got 35% off of the food and gifts that we purchased. Can you believe that Patsy has never been to Disneyland? Neither could anyone else. We had a great time and took as much of the park in as we could. We loved how everything was decorated for Halloween...even Space Mountain. It was really crowded, but we managed to ride on most of the large attraction rides. Our favorite was Space Mountain even though we had to stand in line for 90 minutes. I was looking for Braxton so that we could go to the front of the line.

While Idaho was experiencing record low temperatures, we were in beautiful California with 70 degree weather. Patsy and Cam are congratulating Lily on a great soccer game. I loved watching her play. She is a good dribbler and made a few goals.

Then we went to watch Cam play flag football. He is really quick and and agressive. He was fun to watch. Jacob was also playing, but Dave took him to his game. He and Cam played at the same time.

Isn't she adorable?

I just had to put a few more photos on the blog.

Blessing of Halle

Halle was blessed on September 27th in Twin Falls. Matt did a great job and then we went back to their duplex for lunch. The boys were interested in Halle for a few minutes, but then were fighting with Dusty to play the Wii. He wanted to watch football...I think the Broncos, no less. Braxton was great at bowling and still has the record for the highest score. I stayed for a few days to babysit Halle since it was potato harvest. I loved every moment and was glad when Matt was gone. He hovered over me every moment. They are great parents. Then I headed down to Ogden and flew to California on the 1st of October. I had to be in California for Lily's birthday. She and Kelli Ripa have the same birthdays: October 2nd. Look at Megan's blog for the pictures. www. dmbuchanan.blogspot.com

Dinner out to Kilgore

Tauna had dinner club out to Kilgore at her Mom's cabin. It was a beautiful fall evening and it was so nice and peaceful out there. We were enjoying the evening and how beautiful it was out there.

This is the view out the front window.
David is busy helping himself to some food while Dennis is waiting for his turn. We loved the cabin and had a great time.
