More Snowy Pictures

The snow finally stopped on Friday so the kids were able to go outside and play. However the temperature dropped to single digits so it was cold outside. Sid made a huge hill and Dusty and Cam made it into a snow cave. We thought that they might venture out there to sleep, but I think that it was too cold for them. They slid down the hill on Braxton's new sled and took turns riding the snowmachines. Holly brought her hot chocolate maker and I think that Jacob drank at least a gallon of hot chocolate.

Very Snowy Christmas Day

It snowed all day on Christmas..and of course the snow plows were not out in Fremont county. We were worried if the DeMilles would make it up here. Holly said that the roads were bad, but the worst part of the trip was the Salem Highway. The Buchanans were helping Sid move the snow so that Dusty would have a place to park his trailer and pickup. He got stuck as he pulled into the driveway. Adam and Nate met again for fun and battle.

Christmas Day Activities

Lily & Nate were performing with her High School Musical dancing. Sid was taking a nap. Lily was busy making a lot of cakes with her oven. Dave thought that she should keep it here. I thought that she needed it at home. Nate was happiest playing with his play dough.

Celebrating Christmas in Parker

We went to David and Patsy's house on Christmas Eve. The kids had a good time and it was nice to see everyone again. Those pictures are posted on facebook.com. Jess posted some pictures there so I joined it. It is a whole network of people that we all know. I still want to do the blog though for journaling purposes.

The Buchanan boys were up in the wee hours of the morning, but Nate finally woke up about 8:00. The boys had already had their gifts out ready to open. Sid had bought the boys b.b. guns. Lily and I made sugar cookies. Lily did get the most gifts and enjoyed everyone of them. The boys played their PSPs and we waited for the DeMilles to come. It was a blizzard!
